The Puran Dhaka Journalist Forum paid tribute by placing wreaths on the portraiture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation of Bangladesh. On Saturday morning (June 8), the leaders of the organization laid wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at number 32 of the capital Dhanmondi, the old Dhaka Journalist Forum officially started its journey with the spirit of the great freedom fighter and non-communal Bangladesh. The organization is chaired by Zafarul Alam, senior vice-president Mustafizur Rahman Mostak of Ganakantha. Moniruzzaman Apoorva was present in the presence of Vice-President Mostafizur Rahman Mostak of Sanbad Sarabela, Vice-President Hasan Imam Imran of Gazi Television, Joint General Secretary Bangladesh Representative of Kolkata Television and Al Baru Mustakim Nibir of Daily National Economy, Organizing Secretary Nargis Jui of Bangladesh Television BTV, Co-Organizing Secretary Manabkantha Abu Yusuf. Also present were Treasurer Sumon Dutta of Dhaka News, Shariful Haque Pavel of Publicity and Publication Secretary Nowroz, Sports Editor Ahsan Habib Sumon of Kriralok, Welfare Editor Syed Mahbubur Rahman of Protham Prahar, International Editor Babar Kabir of Protham Prahar.
