According to the Meteorological Office, there may be light to moderate rain in eight divisions including Dhaka. It is also known that there may be moderate to heavy rainfall somewhere.

In the forecast, many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and a couple of places in Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds temporarily. Along with this, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

According to the weather synoptic, the low pressure area extends from West Bengal to Northwest Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere in northern Bay of Bengal.
