T.K. in Jamaldi in Hossaindi Union in Ghazaria, Munshiganj. A terrible fire occurred in the super board factory owned by the group. 6 fire service units are working to extinguish the fire. This incident happened on Sunday afternoon.

According to the witnesses, the workers saw the fire in the jute godown of the company around 1.30 pm. First, the employees of the company tried to put out the fire. After informing the fire service, they came to the spot and started extinguishing the fire. However, due to narrow roads and lack of water inside the institution, the fire spread further.

Ghazaria Fire Service in-charge Rifat Mallik said, “We rushed to the spot after getting the news. First, two units of Ghazaria Fire Service Station started extinguishing the fire.

Later 4 more units from Narayanganj and Dhaka joined the fire fighting. A few more units are on the way to join. We are having trouble extinguishing the fire due to the presence of flammable materials inside. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
