Rain may increase today, will continue for several days

As the monsoon is active, the amount of rain has increased across the country. It is raining in all parts of the country. It rained intermittently in the capital last Sunday night. It has been raining since Monday morning.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the rain may increase today. It will continue to rain for the next few days. There may be such rains throughout the month of July. The forecast of the Meteorological Department says that the rains will increase the most in the northern part of the country in the next few days. Heavy rain has also started on the coast. It will rain there too. Gusty winds are blowing in the Bay of Bengal, so all river ports in the country have been asked to display local warning signal number 3. The Meteorological Department has asked the ships in the sea to stay close to the coast due to the threat of strong winds.

Manowar Hossain, a meteorologist of the Meteorological Department, said yesterday, “We had predicted that there will be more rain this monsoon. It rained quite well in June. Moderate to heavy rains are likely to continue intermittently throughout the country for almost the entire month of July. Panchagarh alone received about 300 mm of rain in two days.

Moderate rain fell in the capital on Sunday. Water has accumulated in different parts of the city. A total of 43 mm of rain fell in the city till 3 pm. The sky was cloudy since morning. Most of the time there is sunshine in the capital. Even though it rained heavily, the city had a warm feeling. The temperature did not drop.

According to the observations of the Meteorological Department, Panchagarh received 108 mm of rain last Saturday and 182 mm yesterday. Apart from this, Feni and Cox’s Bazar also received more than 100 mm of rain. Rain fell in all the districts of the country except Tangail.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, today there is a risk of landslides in Chittagong, Rangamati, Khagrachari, Bandarban and Cox’s Bazar. So the people living under the hill have been told to move to a safe place.
