A case has been registered against 137 vehicles in one day in Motijheel of the capital on the charges of car parking everywhere and driving in the opposite direction.

Recently, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) decided to introduce video cases in 8 traffic departments to maintain traffic order in the capital.

Mohammad Moinul Hasan, Deputy Police Commissioner of Traffic-Motijheel Division, gave this information on Wednesday (July 10) night.

He said that the traffic-Motijheel department has registered 137 video cases in one day operation. Various irregularities are seen on the road including parking of cars, driving in the opposite direction, creating obstacles by blocking the left lane of the road for hours. It is very important for city dwellers to be aware here.

He said that it is important for one person to take care not to obstruct the path of another. But often its deviation is seen. In order to eliminate this irregularity and to maintain traffic order, Karanashi is conducting operations.

DC Mohammad Moinul Hasan also said that every sergeant working in Motijheel traffic-department has been instructed to act as a judge and give proper video cases.
