On Thursday (August 1), meteorologist Ali Akbar Khan of Patenga Meteorological Office told the media that 114.6 millimeters of rainfall has been recorded in Chittagong in 24 hours till 9 am today. Severe traffic jam has been created due to flooding in Muradpur of the city. Vehicles are stuck in it for hours.

Sarwar Hossain, a resident of Mohammadpur area of ​​the city, said that he came to his business establishment in Chawkbazar on foot after waiting for a long time in the rain without finding any vehicle.
