Malaysia ready to work with Bangladesh: Anwar Ibrahim

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said that Malaysia is ready to support the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus. He said this in a post on the social media X (former Twitter). Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said, “I called my old friend Professor Muhammad Yunus yesterday to congratulate him on being appointed as the chief adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh.

Anwar Ibrahim also said, ‘Malaysia has a long-standing good relationship with Professor Yunus. I assured him that Malaysia is ready to help and support the Interim Government to restore peace and security to Bangladesh. I am very satisfied with the assurance that Professor Yunus will work to protect the human rights of Bangladeshis including the minority community. The Prime Minister of Malaysia also said, “Professor Yunus has invited me to make a short visit to Bangladesh as soon as possible to strengthen the brotherly relations between the two countries.” Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister on August 5 and left the country. Currently he is staying in India. Nobel laureate in the situation of peace. An interim government was formed under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus.
