On Wednesday (August 14), meteorologist Mo Manowar Hossain of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department gave this information in the weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports.
According to the Meteorological Office, gusty winds of 45 to 60 km per hour over Rajshahi, Bogra, Tangail, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar regions temporarily. Thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal No. 1.
