Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal. A low pressure may develop over northwest Bay of Bengal and surrounding areas. It may rain in many parts of the country. There may be heavy rain at some places. This information has been given in the forecast of the Department of Meteorology.

It said that light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thunder may occur in most places of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions on Friday. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur at some places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

Night and day temperatures may drop by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius across the country. On Thursday, the highest temperature in the country was 36.4 degrees Celsius in Srimangal and the lowest was 24.7 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds may occur in most parts of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and some parts of Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions tomorrow Saturday. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may drop slightly across the country.
