More than half a hundred officers of the administration cadre of 24, 25 and 27 batches have protested against the demand of canceling the DC Fitlist made during the Awami regime. They protested by gathering at the office of Senior Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Mohammad Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury from 10 am to 12 pm on Monday.

Related sources told Jugantar that according to the fitlist, the government has been appointing Deputy Commissioners (DCs) from among the officers of the administration cadre. After the fall of the Awami League government, recently the list has been sent to the chief advisor for making DC from the previous fitlist.

On this news, more than half a hundred officials of the 24th, 25th and 27th batch of the administration cadre gathered at the office of the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Mohammad Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury.

Complaining, they said that after the resignation of Sheikh Hasina from the post of Prime Minister on August 5 in the face of the mass movement of students, changes are happening everywhere. But the fitlist of those who are preparing to be appointed as DC was prepared during the Awami regime. Therefore, we have demanded to cancel this list and appoint the defunct officers as DC.
