United States Awami League has called for a private meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and President Joe Biden. United States Awami League President Dr. Donald Lu met with Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs of the United States on Tuesday local time. Siddiqur Rahman made this call.

 

Considering the need for a private meeting between the heads of government of the two countries, Donald Lu commented that the matter is being worked on when the proposal was made.

 

Donald Lu said, next November the general election of the United States. We may not have enough time. Siddiqur Rahman raised this issue in the ‘Side Talk’ when Donald Lu came as a guest at the Washington Bangladesh Embassy on March 26, Independence Day.

 

Siddiqur Rahman said that the issue of handing over Bangabandhu’s killer Rashed Chowdhury to the Bangladesh government has also been raised with him. Donald Lu mentioned the various complications of the Justice Department in this regard.

He also said that there was a sincere conversation with Donald Lu. Awami League President Dr. Donald Lu presented the book “Sheikh Mujibur Rahman: The Unfinished Memories” written in Erazi. Siddiqur Rahman.

 

Meanwhile, US State Department Assistant Secretary Donald Lu was present as an invited guest at the Independence Day discussion organized by the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington. However, he did not talk about the politics of Bangladesh in his 4-minute speech at the event. 3 and a half minutes into the 4-minute speech, Bhuysi praised Bangladeshi-born educationist Mansoor Khan, the founder of Khan Academy.

 

He said, we are proud of him. Millions of students around the world are benefiting through its institutions. Teaching free online. Responded to IT training. With a degree from MIT, he has been serving people worldwide in 40 languages. I know him personally. Bangladeshis should be proud of him.
