After the formation of the interim government, the results of all the HSC examinations which have been canceled will be conducted through subject mapping.

The officials of the education board said that a total of six exams have been canceled and subject mapping of JSC and SSC exams will be done in the evaluation of those exams.
Subject mapping is a very effective method in determining test results. Through subject mapping it is possible to ensure accurate assessment of students’ skills. This method does not make any difference in the evaluation of merit of the students in determining the result of the examination.

In the case of subject mapping, 25 percent of the marks obtained in JSC and 75 percent of the marks obtained in SSC will be given to the students in that subject. If a student gets 100 marks in JSC, then 25 marks will be taken from it, and if he gets 100 marks in SSC, then 25 marks will be taken from there, so that student will get 100 marks in HSC in that subject. In exactly the same manner, the results of all the subject examinations of the students whose examination has been canceled will be determined. Through this system, the results of past JSC and SSC examinations will be combined to create a holistic assessment, which serves as a method to maintain student proficiency and consistency. This method also provides an opportunity to collectively assess students’ performance at different levels of study.

Until now, various types of anxiety were going on among the HSC candidates regarding the release of the exam results, how the exam results will be given, how the talent of the talented will be evaluated. So after considering everything from all aspects, the Board of Inter-Education has decided that the numbering of deferred subjects will be done through subject mapping.

When asked about the results of this examination from the Inter-Education Board, Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Coordinator of the Inter-Education Board and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, said that the examination results were published in this manner even when the examination was canceled during the coronavirus.
This time too the results will be produced in the same manner and the proposal has also been sent to the ministry. Once the decision is final, the results will be published as soon as possible.
