Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Essa Yusuf Essa Al-Duhailan, met with Interim Government Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Monday. The meeting took place at the Chief Advisor’s office in Tejgaon, Dhaka, according to a statement from the Chief Advisor’s press wing.

This meeting follows the political transition on August 5, when the Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League government fell due to an anti-discrimination student and public uprising. Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus assumed the role of Chief Advisor on August 8, leading the interim government. Since then, various ambassadors to Bangladesh have been meeting with the Chief Advisor regularly.
