The price of Noakhila Black Diamond is 10 lakhs

All four legs and lower abdomen are white. Apart from this, the whole body is dark black in color. The weight of the bull is about 900 kg. Due to the color of the skin, the farmer has named this bull ‘Noakhailya Black Diamond’. Now the farm owner wants to sell the bull at the animal market of Qorbani. The price is 10 lakhs.

The bull was reared in the farm of Rafiqul Islam, a resident of Bakipur village in Rajganj union of Begumganj, Noakhali. People from the surrounding area flock to his farm every day to see it.

Recently, it was seen that the bull was tied up in front of the farm. Rafiqul Islam is busy feeding the bull. Local residents and some people from the surrounding area thronged there to see the bull.

Residents of the area. Milan said, he often sees videos of large bulls growing in farms in different areas of the country on television and social media. He came to see such a bull being reared in his area. The bull looks very beautiful.

When asked, the farmer Rafiqul said, he and his elder brother. Jasim started collecting and rearing the bull as a hobby four years ago. The bull is five feet in height and about 9 feet in length. The calm-natured bull was raised on wheat, corn, husks and dry hay. Cultivated grass did not feed as well. The bull has been fattened naturally.

Rafiqul said, ‘I want to sell the bull for Tk 10 lakh. So far there are buyers who want to buy for 6 lakh 70 thousand taka. If I don’t get the price of 10 lakhs, I want to sell the bull at this year’s sacrificial animal market, even if it is reduced a little.’

Rafiqul Islam is a registered farmer in the district. However, the district livestock office has no information about his bull. When asked, District Livestock Officer Abul Kalam Azad told Prothom Alo that he is not aware of any news of a bull weighing 900 kg growing in any farm in Noakhali. He was not informed about this from the Upazila Livestock Officer’s office either.
