In Chittagong, the main Jamaat of Eid-ul-Azha will be held at Jamiatul Falah Eidgah Maidan. This time the first congregation will start at 7:30 am. Chittagong City Corporation has completed all preparations for this purpose.

Chittagong City Mayor said this information after inspecting the field of Jamiatul Falah Mosque on Saturday (June 15) morning. Rezaul Karim.

He said that the Jamiatul Falah Eidgah Maidan is fully prepared for the Central Eid Jamaat of Chittagong. Now arrangements have been made for prayers in two congregations at 7:30 am and 8:30 am. There will be enough fans and samiana for the convenience of the worshippers. For performing ablution, water has been arranged in additional cars in addition to the ablutions of the mosque. There are enough trained members of the law and order forces with CCTV monitoring for security. Besides, Eid congregation will be held in the wards under the supervision of ward councillors.

He also said that the water channels around the mosque have been cleaned in advance so that prayers are not disturbed by rain. However, if the water rises due to abnormal rain, the congregation will be held inside the mosque.

Apart from this, Eid Jamat will be held at 7:30 am in 9 mosques under the supervision of City Corporation. The mosques are Laldighi City Corporation Shahi Jame Masjid, Hazrat Sheikh Farid (RA) Chashma Eidgah Mosque, Sugandha Residential Area Jame Masjid, Chawkbazar City Corporation Jame Masjid, Zahoor Hawkers respectively. Market Jame Masjid, South Khulshi (VIP) Residential Area Jame Masjid, Arefin Nagar Central Cemetery Jame Masjid, Sagarika Garubazar Jame Masjid and Ma Ayesha Siddiqui Chasik Jame Masjid (adjacent to Sagarika Zahoor Ahmad Chowdhury Stadium).

Also, one main Eid congregation will be held in each mosque and Eidgah under the supervision of the concerned councilors in 41 wards of the city.
