At least six residential houses and shops have been gutted in the fire in Rangunia of Chittagong. The incident took place at Segunbagan area of ​​Chandraghona-Kadamatli union of the upazila at midnight on Friday (March 29).

 

Station Officer of Rangunia Fire Service and Civil Defense. Kamruzzaman Sumon said that the National Emergency Service 999 was called about the fire at around 1:30 am. After reaching the spot, the fire service personnel were able to put out the fire around 3 o’clock after a long effort.

The fire is believed to have started from an electrical short circuit. However, no one was injured, said the fire service official
