Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, leader of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, warned against disrespecting women, saying "We won't tolerate any insult or misconduct towards mothers and sisters." He emphasized ensuring women's safety and security, allowing them to work with dignity.
He also mentioned stopping "unofficial taxes" (bribes) and ensuring the country isn't ruled by vote thieves. He urged people to vote for a change, saying the current system is flawed.
The event was part of a 10-party alliance's election campaign.
