Jamaat Ameer Criticizes India’s Communal Behavior

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, addressed India, urging them to reflect on their treatment of minorities before lecturing others about communal harmony. Speaking at a district workers’ conference at Moulvibazar Government High School field on Saturday, December 21, he emphasized that Bangladesh has a long history of communal harmony, upheld by its people.
He stated that there is no concept of majority or minority in the country, as all citizens are equally proud members of the nation. Highlighting his vision for a future Bangladesh, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman expressed the desire to build a society of equality and eradicate discrimination, corruption, and extortion. He stressed the need for a nation free from deceit, emphasizing the importance of creating a just and fair Bangladesh.
