The Zimbabwe cricket team is coming to Bangladesh next April to play a five-match T20 series

Before the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh’s last series at home is going to be against Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe cricket team is coming to Bangladesh on April 28 to play a five-match Twenty20 series. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the schedule of bilateral series on Saturday. A Test series was supposed to accompany the T20, but it has been postponed.

The first three T20Is will be held at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong. The matches will be held on May 3, 5 and 7. The first two matches will start at 6 pm. The third match will be held at 3 pm.

The rest of the series will be at Mirpur Home of Cricket on May 10 and 12. The fourth match will be held at 6 pm and the fifth match at 10 am. The Zimbabwe cricket team will leave Dhaka on May 13 after a 17-day tour.

BCB has also informed in the notification that according to the ICC’s future tour plan, Zimbabwe was supposed to play a two-match Test series in Bangladesh this time. That series has been moved to next year. That is, this test series will be held in 2025. This is going to be the first Test series between the two teams since 2018.

28th April : Arrival in Dhaka, Zimbabwe and departure to Chittagong.

May 3: First T20, Chittagong, 6 pm.

May 5: Second T20, Chittagong, 6 pm.

May 12: Fifth T20, Mirpur, 10 am.
