Zimbabwe announced strong squad against Bangladesh.

Zimbabwe has announced a 15-member strong squad for the five-match T20I series against Bangladesh. Sikandar Raja will be led by new face Jonathan Campbell in the Zimbabwean squad for this series. He is the son of former team captain Alastair Campbell.

 

Legspin bowling all-rounder Jonathan is waiting to make his debut in the first match of the series at Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on May 3.

Besides, top-order batsman Tadiwanashe Marumani and all-rounder Faraz Akram have returned to the team. The remaining members were all in the squad for the last T20I series against Sri Lanka last January. Zimbabwe lost that series 2-1 against the Lankans.

 

The first match of this series will be held in Chittagong on May 3, 5 and 7. The remaining two matches will be held at the Sher Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur – May 10 and 12.
