Babar Azam’s cover drive is a favorite of many cricket lovers. But this Pakistani batsman knows how to hit boundaries not only on cover drives but also on other sides of the field. Babar played by biting the ground instead of blowing it. This right-handed batsman is relieved to hit not a six, but a four.

Babar has created a great record in international cricket with this eye-catching batting. That’s the record of making ‘four’. Babar has hit 409 fours in 108 matches in this short format cricket. In this, the Pakistan captain has surpassed Ireland’s batsman Paul Stirling to top the list of four wickets.

The record for most fours was held by Sterling. The Irish batsman has hit 407 fours in 136 matches. And yesterday, Babar hit 6 fours in an innings of 69 runs from 44 balls at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. He left Sterling behind.

Virat Kohli is third in the list of four-hitters. Indian star cricketer hit 361 fours in 109 innings. After Kohli there is another Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma. This Indian batsman has hit 359 fours in 143 matches.

Babar has set another record today. Former Australian cricketer Aaron Finch held the record of leading the national team in 76 international T20 matches so far. Babar touched that record of Finch yesterday.

Pakistan beat New Zealand by 9 runs on Babar’s record day. The Kiwis were bowled out for 169 in reply to the hosts’ 179.
