The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not put together the entire IPL schedule due to the upcoming national elections. Initially half the schedule was announced. Now they have published the schedule of the remaining part.
Due to the election, there was doubt whether the rest of the IPL would be held on Indian soil or not. But this time it is known from the schedule that the entire IPL i.e. 74 matches will be played in India.
The Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches will be played on May 21 and 22 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera. Qualifier 2 and Final will be held on 24th and 26th May respectively at CHIP, Chennai.
BCCI announced the schedule of 21 matches till April 7 in the first part. There will be no rest before the second leg matches. The second phase of the game starts from April 8.
However, there is a one-day break before the start of the playoffs on May 20. Play-offs will be played from May 21.
