I am a journalist, I am an editor, a leader or someone influential. But I can’t do anything for this society, for people, nothing is done. How brave I am to save the society and advance the country in speeches, statements, talk shows. However, I cannot give the opportunity to a well-known drug dealer who is a destroyer of society, a guide to the wrong path of the youth.
The drug dealer pleaded and said, I want to leave the dark path and come to the light path. I am tired of walking on dirty muddy roads. Good driving knowledge, have license – but expired. Please give me a driving job with a license. Even if the salary is 8/10 thousand taka. Trust me I’ll get over it. My heart melts because of his desire, but I couldn’t get him a job even after two months.

I know another young woman. Who used to start his day with five daily prayers and recitation of the Quran every morning. The woman is disoriented while supporting the family of her mother, two children and two nieces. After wandering around a lot, he could not get a job even in a garment. He is leading a life as a bar dancer without any means. Meanwhile, three-time prayers have been stopped, Quran recitation has also been stopped. But even with the dancer’s income, the wheels of the world are not moving. If you agree to everything, you will be guaranteed three meals. But the woman is now looking for a legitimate job, she will be able to work as a salesperson in a store. Even if he is paid 14 thousand taka per month, he is not reluctant to work for 12 hours.

My heart is melting in the desperate desire to be well, his tears hurt me too,,, but what about that? I couldn’t even get him a job as a salesman.

I know another young man, who left his helpless mother in the village and came to Dhaka in one dress. It has been said that even if my mother goes to Kamlagiri in Dhaka, I will arrange to send your expenses. The college student is very tired after traveling around Dhaka for four months. Here the job goat could not even guarantee his own food. He spends the night at Kamalapur station for several days, he has no way to eat even once a day. I kept him in my house for three days after he was starved for two days. On the last day, I gave him 500 rupees and sent him away. For the last 10/12 days, I don’t know where he is staying, what he is eating, his mother’s condition or anything.

Shariful requested the neighboring criminals to desist from drug dealing. Due to the rent in the same tinshed building, it became very difficult for Shariful to stay with his family due to the traffic of drug addicts day and night. That is why he requested to run drug business outside the house. The drug dealer made up his mind. That night Shariful was handed over to the police with twenty pitches. Shariful’s wife was in a lot of trouble with the baby in her arms. He said that Shariful, who works as an employee in a grocery store with a salary of only five thousand taka, does not drink alcohol, cigarettes or tea in his life.

The night Shariful was arrested, the next morning there was nothing like a handful of rice or market in his house. There was no money in hand. Shariful’s helpless wife did not know what to do and where to go. He had nothing to do but wail. He was only crying to free Shariful, hugging the hands and feet of whoever he was getting. He was saying that if he can spread his husband, he will not stay in Dhaka for a moment, he will go to the village of Bhola. Her cries created a heart-wrenching atmosphere, her own mind also suffering from pain. After inquiring with the concerned police officer of the police station, I came to know that Shariful was sent to jail as he was arraigned in the court the day after his arrest. Now Shariful’s life is stuck in the long process of lawyer, court, bail application. On the other hand, Shariful’s young wife was evicted by the owner of the house due to the uncertainty of getting the house rent in just 7/8 days. Where is the unknown girl of the city with her baby in her lap, where are two handfuls of food? It is not possible for me to know that news.

Such little things of life are scattered all around us. We avoid their responsibility with various restrictions, we don’t apply it. I think it’s a problem. However, due to lack of initiative of some of us, each life is lost, many families are destroyed.

In fact, many things can be said, many things can be done on the stage of the lecture, on the Facebook timeline, but the reality is much more difficult. It is not easy to do anything good for anyone there. This requires concerted efforts of like-minded people, sincerity to come forward,,,,
