BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Dean Mohammad Nurul Haque gave this instruction when he went to meet the Head of State at Bangabhaban this Sunday afternoon. President Md. Sahabuddin said, “Take necessary steps to encourage treatment of patients in the country’s super specialized hospitals to reduce foreign exposure.”

Later, the President’s press secretary. Zainal Abedin said in the briefing that during the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor informed the President about the overall activities of BSMMU including treatment.

President and Acharya Sahabuddin said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University is a specialized institution. Here, patients should be given the highest priority regarding better treatment and services. He urged to speed up the overall activities of the university besides taking timely measures in providing treatment and services to the patients.
