In a joyful and heartwarming atmosphere, the Eid Reunion of the 2002 batch of I.E.T. Government High School was held in Narayanganj. The event took place on Thursday (June 12) at the garden house of Ariful Haque Nirzhar, a student of the 2002 batch, in the Kushiyara area of Bandar, Narayanganj.
Former students from the 2002 batch participated in the event. Throughout the day, the reunion was filled with lively conversations, heartfelt reminiscing, and a clear commitment to strengthening their lifelong bonds of friendship.
One of the main organizers, Ariful Haque Nirzhar, said,
"After a long time, we, the friends from our school days, have come together. Through this event, we fondly remember our beloved teachers and those classmates who are no longer with us. Today, we are all established in our respective careers, but the days of our adolescence and the moments of our school life will never return. This reunion has undoubtedly made our friendship even stronger."
At the end of the event, as part of an environmental awareness initiative, the participants planted an amla (Indian gooseberry) tree and a chalta (elephant apple) tree.
