Iran’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Mohammad Bagheri, has claimed that all of the targets that were attacked in Israel have been met. He said, if Israel does not respond to this attack, then Tehran has no plans to attack the country again.

Mohammad Bagheri’s statement was highlighted in a report by Iran’s news agency Tasnim News. Iran launched drone and missile attacks on various areas of Israel on Saturday night. According to the country, this attack was carried out in response to the Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the capital of Syria on April 1.

Mohammad Bagheri said that no civilian and economic targets were attacked yesterday.

Only military installations were targeted. In particular, an Israeli intelligence base was attacked on Mount Hermon. The base was involved in the attack on the Damascus consulate. Israel’s Nevatim airbase in the Negev desert was also attacked. From there, Israeli warplanes attacked the consulate.

Both targets were “significantly destroyed and disabled” in the Iranian attack, the military official said, adding that Tehran was capable of launching a “10 times stronger” attack than yesterday’s attack.

Iran has warned the US

Regarding Mohammad Bagheri’s statement, Tasnim News reported that Iran attacked yesterday because Israel crossed the final limit. He also warned that Israel could launch a “much larger scale” attack in response to this Iranian attack.

Bagheri also said that Tehran has sent a message to the US through the Swiss embassy.

It said that if the United States “engages with the aggressive actions of the Zionists through its bases and military installations in the region, and if this is proven, then there will be no security for the US bases, installations and officials in the region.”

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) reported that several missiles were fired at Israeli territory at around 8pm GMT yesterday. This is Iran’s first direct strike targeting Israeli territory.

The Israeli military said Iran fired more than 200 killer drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles at Israel. Most of these missiles have been intercepted outside the border with the help of US and British forces. Iran has managed to attack several places including a base in southern Israel. There was little damage to the infrastructure there.
