Iran gave notice of drone and missile attack on Israel a few days ago. Turkish, Jordanian and Iraqi officials said this on Sunday.

However, US officials say that Tehran did not warn Washington about this.

On April 1, there was a missile attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the capital of Syria. Israel is suspected of carrying out the attack.

In retaliation, Iran launched hundreds of drone and missile attacks on Israel last Saturday night.

Tel Aviv claims that most of Iran’s drones and missiles are destroyed before reaching Israeli territory.

However, Israel reported that a girl was seriously injured in the Iranian attack.

After the attack by Iran, there was widespread concern about further escalation of tensions between the two sides.

Turkey’s foreign ministry said it had spoken to both Washington and Tehran before the attack.
Tehran said it would respond to Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, a Turkish diplomatic source said. Beyond that they will do nothing. Türkiye was aware of this possible Iranian response. What happened as a result was not surprising.
A senior official in US President Joe Biden’s administration, however, denied the Iranian foreign minister’s claims. According to this US official, Washington communicated with Iran through Swiss intermediaries. But they did not receive any notice 72 hours before the attack.

Regarding Iran’s statement about advance notice of the attack, the US official said, “This is absolutely not true.” They did not give any notice. They did not say that these places will be targeted, so evacuate civilians.’

According to the US official, Iran only sent a message to the US after the attack began. The objective of this Iranian attack was very destructive.
