Delhi Capitals defeated Gujarat Titans by 4 runs in another high-scoring IPL match in a breathtaking last over. In reply to Delhi’s 224 for 4, Gujarat needed 19 runs in the last over to win. And the last ball needs 5 runs.

Delhi did not allow Gujarat to score those 5 runs. Delhi pacer Mukesh Khan did not allow the Gujarat batsman Rashid Khan, who was on strike, to score any runs in the last ball. Due to which Gujarat’s innings stopped at 220 for 8 wickets.

Defeated the toss and went into bat at their home ground Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, Delhi posted a decent score of 224 for 4 thanks to two brilliant innings by Axar Patel and skipper Rishabh Pant.

Patel played a great innings of 66 runs off 43 balls. He finished the innings with 5 boundaries and 4 sixes. And Pant was walking towards the century after his fifty. But he was unbeaten on 88 as the over ended. Pant hits 8 sixes with 5 boundaries.

In reply, Sai Sudarshan and David Miller scored fifty for Gujarat. Sudarshan scored 65 runs from 39 balls and Miller scored 55 runs from 23 balls. However, their two great fifties were of no use to Gujarat. Shubman Gill’s team had to leave the field after losing by 4 runs.
