Canada is going to participate in the T20 World Cup for the first time. The North American country has already announced the squad for the upcoming World Cup like other countries.

Canada announced all-rounder Bin Zafar as the captain in their first T20 World Cup in the history of cricket. Although the team is new to the World Cup, most of the players in the squad are in their thirties. There are only 4 cricketers in the 15-man squad, who are under 30 years of age.

Canada will play in Group A in this World Cup to be organized by the West Indies and the United States from June 1. The other teams in this group are India, USA, Pakistan and Ireland.
