Pakistan left the country for Ireland leaving behind Mohammad Amir. The Pakistani pacer could not board the plane with the team to play the three-match T20 series against the Irish due to not getting a visa on time. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not said anything about when Amir will get rid of this complication.

According to PCB, Amir has applied for the visa following the proper rules like other cricketers. The other cricketers of the team have got visas, but Amir’s wait is increasing. The Irish Cricket Board also did not say that this cricketer, who has obtained the citizenship of the United Kingdom along with Pakistan, was not given a visa for any reason.

The PCB has spoken to the Irish Cricket Board to resolve the issue. The PCB then told cricket website Cricinfo that it is entirely the responsibility of the host board. It is their responsibility to deal with the visa complications of the visiting team.

It is also their job to arrange visas for the cricketers on time. However, the Irish Cricket Board is trying to resolve the issue of Amir. There is no word yet on when it will be resolved. Meanwhile, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are scheduled to arrive in Ireland on Wednesday morning. And the series will start on May 10. And it will end on May 14.

After completing the series against the Irish, Pakistan will play a four-match T20I series against England.
