The Palestinian independence organization Hamas has announced that Israel will not be given any more concessions in the agreement on the establishment of a cease-fire in Gaza.

After recently agreeing to the ceasefire proposal given by Egypt, Hamas announced that Israel did not comply. Ceasefire talks are still ongoing in Cairo, Egypt.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces fired tanks and airstrikes in Rafah, the southernmost city of Gaza. He also threatened to launch a major operation.

Israeli forces entered the city from the Rafah border crossing with Egypt the previous day on Tuesday. This cuts off a vital route for aid supplies to Gaza from the outside. It is also the only way to evacuate Palestinians injured in Israeli attacks.

Izzat El-Reshiq, a member of the political office of Hamas in Qatar, said in a statement on Wednesday that they will not go beyond the ceasefire proposal accepted last Monday.

Among other things, the resolution calls for the release of some of the Israeli hostages in Gaza and the release of Palestinian women and children held in Israeli prisons.

Reshik said Israel was not serious about reaching a ceasefire agreement and was using the agreement as a means to cover up the invasion of Rafah and the occupation of the border crossing.

Israel did not immediately comment on this statement by Hamas. The Israeli authorities announced last Monday that it is not possible to accept the three-point ceasefire proposal accepted by Hamas; Because its terms are too weak and not enforceable.
