The Iranian Red Crescent has reached the site where the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi crashed.
The Iranian Red Crescent said this in a statement. A search and rescue team from the Iranian Red Crescent reached the crash site, the statement said.
However, the Iranian Red Crescent did not say anything more about this. Meanwhile, the country’s media have reported that the crashed helicopter carrying Raisi has been ‘found’.

The helicopter carrying Raisi crashed near Jolfa area in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province on Sunday. The country’s foreign minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian and some senior officials were in the same helicopter.
The rescue operation was hampered due to inclement weather. Due to heavy rain and dense fog in the area, nothing could be seen at a distance of more than five meters.
