The teams are gearing up to do well in the T20 World Cup. This time, Afghanistan has appointed former Caribbean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who coached Mostafiz-Pathiranad in Chennai Super Kings, as bowling advisor.

Bravo is the owner of most wickets in T20 cricket. He has taken 625 wickets in 573 matches. The right-handed pacer has extensive experience playing in T20 leagues around the world.

After his playing career, he worked as a bowling coach for the five-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings. Mostafizur Rahman, Mathisha Pathirana played under him this time.

However, Bravo’s clear understanding of West Indies’ conditions could be the main reason behind bringing him into the team. This all-rounder has also won T20 World Cup twice for the country.

This year’s T20 World Cup will be held in the United States and West Indies. Afghanistan has already reached St. Kitts and Nevis. Rashid Khan will conduct a 10-day preparation camp here. Bravo will join the team here.
