China made a chatbot about Xi Jinping

Recently, there is a new chatbot based on Chinese President Xi Jinping. It has even been trained using the ‘thinking’ of a Chinese leader. It refers to his words as ‘thoughts’, the researchers did not use any new ‘mind-reading’ technology.

 

Chinese officials have only used some of Xi’s books and research papers to train AI chatbots. of the Financial Times .

His political ideology is collectively known as ‘Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era’ or simply ‘Xi Jinping Thought’. And this document was created when he was serving as the leader of the Chinese Communist Party i.e. CCP.

 

With that in mind, the chatbot has been trained on more than 12 books, which are claimed to have been written by Xi Jinping himself. Its training set includes government regulations, policy documents, state media reports and other official publications.

The technology is not yet available for everyone. It is currently being used in a research center under China’s cyber security agency CAC. However, it is likely to be introduced on a wider scale gradually.
