Israeli forces again attacked the camp of displaced people in the besieged Gaza territory. At least 21 people were killed. Among the dead were 12 women. More than half a hundred people were injured in the attack.

Aljazeera reported this information in a report on Wednesday (May 29).

At least 21 people were killed in an attack by Israeli forces on a tent camp for displaced families in al-Mawasi, near the southern Gaza city of Rafah, Palestinian medical officials and the Palestinian news agency said.

Earlier on Sunday night, Israel carried out a terrible attack on a camp for displaced people in the southern town of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. At least 45 Palestinians were killed. The latest attack comes at a time when Israel has come under worldwide condemnation and criticism due to previous attacks.

Gaza medical officials said at least 12 women were among those killed in Tuesday’s attack in Rafah Governorate.

Gaza’s health ministry said in a Telegram post that another 64 people were injured in the attack, 10 of them seriously. On the other hand, the Palestinian official news agency Wafa reported that Israel has carried out airstrikes in that area.

However, the Israeli military has denied launching an attack on Rafar Almawasi. “Contrary to the reports of the last few hours (we would like to say), the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) did not attack the humanitarian area in al-Mawasi,” the military, which conducted the offensive, said in a statement.
