28 dead including women and children as bus falls into ditch in Pakistan

Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot soon after the accident. The injured were rescued and taken to Civil Hospital in Basima.

The doctors said that the condition of several of the injured is very serious. Because of that, it is feared that the death toll may increase.

A tire of the bus burst as the bus was traveling from Turbat city to the southwestern provincial capital of Quetta, some passengers who suffered minor injuries said. After that, the bus fell into the ditch and the casualty happened.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep condolences to the victims of the accident. He also ordered to provide all kinds of support to the injured.
