After the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate, Iran launched drone and missile attacks targeting Israel. At that time, most Arab countries sided with Iran, but Jordan sided with Israel. Iranian missiles were destroyed while passing over Jordan. Anti-government protests have started in Jordan itself. This time, despite the genocide in Gaza, a young man set himself on fire to protest the normalization of the country’s relations with Israel.  News from Middle East Monitor.

According to reports, the young man set himself on fire outside a government building in the southern city of Aqaba on Thursday night.

According to the social media, he was protesting against the government for supporting the Israeli forces in the ongoing attack in Gaza for quite some time.

In a video clip circulated on social media on Friday, it can be seen that the body was set on fire in front of the royal palace in Aqaba city. A Jordanian security guard was seen shooting at the burning man.

It is known that when the Jordanian youth was taken to the hospital with severe burns, the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Meanwhile, some have compared the incident to the 2011 suicide of Tunisian fruit seller Mohamed Bouazizi.
