Occupier Israel has carried out massacres in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Palestinian Gaza Strip. The occupying forces killed at least 210 Palestinians in a massive attack on the camp located in central Gaza on Saturday to rescue four hostages. More than four hundred were injured.

The official media office of Gaza reported this information in a statement on their official X account. Gaza’s media office also reported that the injured were taken to al-Awda refugee camp and al-Aqsa hospital in Deir el-Balahr.

The four hostages who were rescued today were taken by Hamas fighters from a music show on October 7. The Israeli Defense Forces said, during the rescue of the hostages, Nuseira was attacked from three directions: water, land and air.

Senior Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters news agency that the rescue of four hostages after nine months of fighting was a defeat for Israel.

Meanwhile, Israel is facing political unrest since the Palestinian invasion of Gaza. Now the country’s Prime Minister Netanyahu and the generals secretly want an end to the Gaza war, according to a report in the country’s Haaretz newspaper.

That is why Netanyahu always wants to have as many options as possible. He concludes, he needs an alternative to end the war. But his intentions to stop the war differed from those of his generals, the newspaper said.

In this situation, Israel’s ally, the United States, has strengthened its efforts for a ceasefire. In Middle Eastern capitals, at the United Nations and beyond, the Biden administration is making the strongest diplomatic push ever to persuade Israeli and Hamas leaders to agree to a proposed cease-fire deal. But even after a week of US pressure, the world is still not seeing signs of hope.

Biden made a three-step proposal on May 31 to persuade Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas leaders to agree to a ceasefire. It has now become a test of US diplomacy.

US diplomats are trying to get the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution for a ceasefire. But China and Russia, which have veto power in the Security Council, are criticizing the US. Biden is sending Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to the Middle East for his eighth trip since the start of the Gaza offensive to bolster cease-fire efforts.

But US efforts are changing Israel’s political equation. Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition partners have threatened to bring down the government if Netanyahu adopts Biden’s outline. Israeli War Cabinet member Benny Gantz is expected to resign on Saturday.

Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan told reporters in Beirut this week that Biden’s announcement was “positive”; But they won’t accept any deal without guarantees of a permanent ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, and a prisoner exchange.

Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has added the Israeli armed forces to the list of those responsible for violence against children in various parts of the world. The list is included in the report Guterres is scheduled to submit to the UN Security Council on June 14 on children and armed conflict. According to the official media of Gaza, about 15,000 children were killed in total.

On the other hand, doctors said on Saturday that six members of a family were killed in an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza. According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, at least 36 thousand 801 Palestinians have been killed and 83 thousand 680 have been injured in Israel’s aggression in Gaza since October 7.
