At least 49 people have died after a boat carrying migrants capsized off the coast of Yemen. 140 people are still missing in this accident. The boat was heading to Yemen from the Horn of Africa. Al Jazeera reported this news about the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Tuesday (June 11).

The IOM said in a statement that there were 260 passengers on board the sunken boat. 71 people were rescued from there. Eight of them have been sent to hospital. Besides, six children and 31 women are among the dead. Most of them are citizens of Ethiopia and Somalia. The boat started off the northern coast of Somalia.
