Abdul Salam Haniyeh, the eldest son of slain Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian armed group Hamas, has revealed new information about how his father was killed in Tehran.

In an interview in Doha, he revealed new information about his father’s murder. News from Meher News.

He said his father was the victim of a missile attack after being tracked through his mobile phone.

Abdul Salam Haniyah said it was a guided missile that tracked his mobile phone, which was placed near his head in his room that night, that took a direct hit.

He also denied earlier allegations made by some media outlets about the presence of a planned bomb.

“I believe that the story of the presence of an explosive device is completely baseless,” he said. Bodyguards and other advisers were sitting in a room a few meters away from his room, so it was clear that if there had been an explosive device, the whole place would have been blown up.

Abdul Salam Haniyah insisted the Hamas leader’s phone made him an easy target. My father was attending an official function and was carrying his mobile phone, so the operation was not too complicated.

He also revealed that Haniyeh was calling continuously from his phone that day and even that the blast happened at 10.15 pm.

He also said that the operation was conducted under American cover.
