Planes were suspended at Iranian airports due to the attack on Israel. However, on Monday (April 15) around 6 am local time, flights started operating in the country.
Flight operations were suspended at Tehran's Imam Khamenei and Mehrabad airports on Sunday. The decision was taken by the authorities mainly because of the tension surrounding the direct attack on Israel.
Before this, many countries in the Middle East closed their skies. Although they are normalized now.
Because Iran's military campaign against Israel has ended for the time being. However, if the Israeli authorities try to retaliate, Tehran will launch a bigger attack. And this fight is only between Iran and Israel. The Iranian government has warned the US to stay out of it. Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations said these things in a statement on Sunday (April 14).
In response to the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Iran fired hundreds of drones and missiles at Israeli territory on Saturday (April 13) night.
This is the first time that Iran has directly attacked Israel. Iran named this operation "Operation True Promise" or "Operation True Promise".
