National elections are being held in seven phases in different states of India. The ruling BJP has invited some foreign political parties to show their overall preparation and campaign in this election. They invited Awami League as the only party from Bangladesh.
In the invitation letter sent to Awami League to monitor BJP’s election preparations and campaign, they requested to send a representative from the party.
In view of this invitation, as a representative of Awami League, the party’s information and research secretary and member of parliament. It is reported that Salim Mahmud has been nominated by the Awami League President to visit India.
Dr. Salim Mahmud’s visit will be mainly for 5 days. He will visit India from May 1 to May 5. During this visit, a meeting of Awami League representative and senior leaders of BJP is scheduled to take place.
It is known that the BJP will take the Awami League representative to Chhattisgarh to show the BJP’s election campaign on the ground outside Delhi.
Incidentally, India’s general election started on April 19 and will continue until June 1. The results of the polls will be announced on June 4.
