Two buses caught fire in the capital

Unidentified individuals set fire to two Victor Paribahan buses in Merul Badda and Shahjadpur areas of the capital. Authorities have yet to confirm the motive behind the arson.

 

According to officials, the Fire Service received reports of the incidents early Monday morning (10 November). Four fire service units were deployed and managed to bring the flames under control.

 

Rashed Bin Khalid, the duty officer at the Fire Service control room, confirmed the information.

 

He said they were alerted around 5:40am about fires in two Victor Paribahan buses in Merul Badda and Shahjadpur. Firefighters reached the locations and extinguished the flames. The cause of the fires remains unknown, and no further details have been received so far. Officials also stated that there were no reports of injuries.
