Suchona Memorial Foundation Holds Month-Long Winter Clothing Distribution

Suchona Memorial Foundation has been continuing its month-long winter clothing distribution program in service of humanity. Under this initiative, winter clothing has been distributed among cold-stricken people from various walks of life in different areas of the capital.
On behalf of Al Baru Mustakim Nibir, Chief Reporter of the Crime Investigation Cell of Daily Manobkantha and Chairman of Suchona Memorial Foundation, warm blankets were handed over to those suffering from the cold. This humanitarian initiative was undertaken to protect helpless people from the severe cold during late nights.
Present at the event were Al baru Muktadir Abir, Vice Chairman of Suchona Memorial Foundation; Niloy Mridha, Treasurer; and other members of the organization including Shafikur Rahman Pavel, Shihab Uddin Alif, Anas Nibir, Raj, Abdur Rahman, and Ahnaf Abir.
In addition, in memory of the late Suchona Akter Rokeya and on behalf of her family, heavy blankets were distributed among the cold-affected people in the presence of all members of the organization. At the event, Mustakim Mohammad Nirbhik, the only son of the late Sunochona Akter Rokeya and journalist Mostakim Nibir, as well as Sunochona’s grandmother Mostakin Bibi, were also present.
The beneficiaries received the blankets with joy and gratitude. They also offered prayers seeking forgiveness (maghfirah) for the late Suchona Akter Rokeya.
The organizers stated that Suchona Memorial Foundation will continue to carry out such social and humanitarian activities in service of humanity in the future as well.
