A major scandal has erupted at the Dhaka University-affiliated 7 colleges, where a question paper for the Honours 2nd Year Political Science exam was allegedly leaked.
The exam, which took place on Thursday (January 22), was supposed to be a secure and fair assessment of students’ knowledge. However, photos of the question paper started circulating on social media and online groups before the exam, sparking outrage among students and educators.
The question paper leak has raised concerns about the integrity of the examination process and the credibility of the degrees awarded by the 7 colleges.
A 3-member committee has been formed to investigate the matter, and a report is expected within 7 days.
Dhaka University’s Controller of Examinations, Himadri Shekhar Chakraborty, has assured that the university will take strict action if the allegations are proven true.
The incident has sparked widespread criticism, with many calling for swift action to prevent such incidents in the future.
