Popular YouTube Dramas Capturing Viewer Attention This Month
Since the beginning of this month, several new dramas on YouTube have been trending, especially ahead of Valentine’s Day. Actors such as Mosharraf Karim, Niloy Alamgir, Jovan, Yash Rohan, Totini, and Niha have all appeared in recently released dramas, covering themes of love, relationships, social issues, and light comedy. These releases have quickly drawn the interest of viewers. Let’s take a look at which dramas are currently resonating most with audiences.
Several of these dramas have gained significant viewership in a short time, while others, even with moderate views, have been highly praised. One standout is “Ghushkhor”, starring Mosharraf Karim, which received 1.3 million views in just two days. The story revolves around a man who accepts bribes from villagers to provide jobs. Karim’s nuanced performance, blending comedy with a human-centered narrative, has been widely appreciated. He is joined on-screen by Nilanjana Neela, and the drama is directed by Sohel Hasan.
Another popular release, “Jonmo Jonme”, features Yash Rohan and Naznin Niha reuniting on-screen after a break. The drama has garnered 2.6 million views in two days. Its story centers around two young individuals whose parents are contesting in a local election, creating tension and conflicts that drive the narrative. Lutfur Rahman George and Shatabdi Wadud play the fathers, while the drama is directed by Tawfiqul Islam and written by Raihan Mahmud.
Meanwhile, Niloy Alamgir appears in a new role quite different from his usual comedic performances. His drama, “Onno Manush”, tells the story of a young man who plants trees in his community and even talks to them, earning a reputation as “crazy” among locals. He protects the trees from local troublemakers and eventually crosses paths with an official. Alamgir stars alongside Aisha Khan, and the drama is directed by S.R. Majumdar.
Jovan and Keya Payel’s drama “Moner Dewale” has also captured audience attention. The story follows Golam, who moves from his village to Dhaka in search of work and faces a series of unexpected challenges. With help from someone he meets in the city, he secures a small money-selling job and rents a tiny apartment, but his larger dreams remain unfulfilled. Keya Payel plays a street-side cosmetics seller, and both actors have received praise for portraying unique characters. Directed by Mahmud Mahin, the drama has attracted around 2 million viewers so far.
These diverse stories—ranging from social comedy to heartfelt drama—are making YouTube a hotspot for audiences seeking fresh, relatable content this month.
