Job Opportunities Under the Bangladesh Armed Forces Board, Ministry of Defense

The Bangladesh Armed Forces Board, operating under the Ministry of Defense, has announced vacancies for two positions. The application process will begin on 16 March 2026.

1. Position: Verification / Investigation Officer

• Number of Vacancies: 1

• Educational Requirements & Experience: Candidates must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent from a recognized board and be retired JEs/other equivalent ranks with 20 years of experience in the armed forces.

• Grade & Salary Scale: Grade-11, BDT 12,500–30,230

• Age Limit: Maximum 48 years

2. Position: Office Assistant cum Computer Typist

• Number of Vacancies: 1

• Educational Requirements & Experience: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent from a recognized board and be experienced in computer operations. For retired corporals or lance corporals with 15 years of armed forces experience, educational requirements may be relaxed.

• Typing Requirements: Minimum 20 words per minute in both Bangla and English

• Grade & Salary Scale: Grade-16, BDT 9,300–22,490

• Age Limit: 18–32 years (up to 45 years for retired armed forces personnel)
