A Poetic Revelation and Review Event Held

The book unveiling and review event for Ekti Onibarya Odhiveshoner Dak by poet Mohammad Kutubuddin was held on Saturday, February 8, at the Feni Samiti Auditorium in Dhaka. The event was presided over by poet Arif Moinuddin, with poet Zakir Abu Jafar, literary editor of Dainik Naya Diganta and a prominent figure in modern Bengali literature, as the chief guest.
The ceremony was inaugurated by the esteemed poet Shahin Reza, Joint General Secretary of the Bangladesh National Poetry Council. Poet Khurshid Alam Sagar served as the keynote speaker. Special guests included distinguished poets ABM Sohel Rashid and Asad Kajol, editor and writer Principal MA Hossain, and prominent organizer and banker Manjurul Alam Tipu.
The event was moderated by writer and organizer Noor Shah Mohammad Azad, with speeches delivered by Dr. Mohammad Abul Bashar, businessman and organizer Tajul Islam Liton, Aminul Islam, and Kamal Uddin, General Secretary of Daganbhuiyan Blood Donation in Dhaka.
Speakers discussed the significance and purpose of the book’s title, emphasizing how Mohammad Kutubuddin’s poetry reflects social, political, and humanitarian concerns. They noted that his writings offer thought-provoking perspectives and guidance.
Alongside Ekti Onibarya Odhiveshoner Dak, the poet has also published Jago He Mumin and Khukumonir Baina, all under the Sahityadesh publishing house. These books are available at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2025 at stalls 594-595.
