Heavy Rain Ahead for 4 Days, Here’s the Temperature Forecast

Rain has been occurring across various parts of the country over the past few days, and now the Meteorological Department has forecasted the possibility of heavy rainfall over the next four days. Although temperatures are expected to remain stable initially, they may rise slightly toward the end of the period.
According to a weather bulletin issued Thursday (April 17), scattered light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely in several areas of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Some areas may experience heavy rainfall. Day and night temperatures are expected to remain mostly unchanged during this time.
The forecast for Friday indicates moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in parts of the country, with the chance of heavy rain in some areas. No major changes in temperature are expected.
On Saturday, light to moderate rain is expected in a few places in Khulna, Barisal, and Chattogram divisions, while isolated showers are likely in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Sylhet. Some of these areas may see heavy downpours. Temperatures are forecasted to remain steady.
Sunday’s outlook includes rain in parts of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet, with isolated showers possible in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Barisal divisions. Thunderstorms with gusty winds and heavy rain are also likely in some places. A slight rise in both day and night temperatures is anticipated.
By Monday, rain with gusty winds may occur in parts of Mymensingh and Sylhet, along with isolated rain in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, and Chattogram. Temperatures are expected to increase slightly nationwide.
Looking ahead, the extended forecast suggests that rainfall activity may decrease, while temperatures are likely to rise further.
