Political Parties’ Reform Approach Praiseworthy: Chief Adviser

At the first phase of talks with the National Consensus Commission, Chief Adviser and Commission Head Dr. Muhammad Yunus praised political parties for their constructive and reform-minded approach. The meeting, held Thursday (May 8) at 4:30 PM at the state guesthouse Jamuna, was chaired by Dr. Yunus himself and focused on reviewing the progress of the commission’s activities. He urged swift finalization of the action plan for the next round of discussions with political stakeholders.
The 90-minute session was attended by Vice Chair of the Commission Prof. Ali Riaz, and members Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Justice Emdadul Haque, Safar Raj Hossain, and Dr. Mohammad Ayyub Miah. Also present were Legal Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul, Planning Adviser Prof. Wahiduddin Mahmud, Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, Environment and Water Resources Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Energy and Transport Adviser Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan, and Information Adviser Mahfuz Alam.
